아주경제 박현주 기자= 2년전 미국 뉴욕 첼시에 있는 아라리오뉴욕에서 개인전을 열고 있을때다. 그 앞에있는 세계적인 화랑 페이스갤러리에서는 데이비드 호크니의 (75)전시가 열리고 있었다. 어느날 갤러리관계자가 그의 전시를 보러왔을때 “네 작업이 호크니의 작업과 연관성이 있는 것 같다”며 “호크니와 만나게 해주겠다”고 했다.
